Each year, the Order Sons and Daughters of Italy in America, New York State Grand Lodge Foundation, Inc., supports cultural, educational, and philanthropic programs, both locally and statewide. The Golden Lion Awards Dinner generates the funds for these programs.
This year, the 40th Anniversary Dinner will be held on Friday, April 26, 2024, at the beautiful Garden City Hotel.
The Foundation supports major charitable organizations, such as the Cooley's Anemia Foundation, the Alzheimer's Association, the Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism, as well as Cancer Research, and many other worthwhile causes. Major Foundation programs include the Commission for Social Justice, the Garibaldi Meucci Museum, the OSDIA Gift of Sight program, a non-profit Senior Housing project, and a highly regarded statewide scholarship and grant program.

In addition, the singular 2024 Special Citizen Award will be presented to Colleen DiClaudio, President and Founder, Nuvem.
Tickets for our 40th Annual Golden Lion Awards Dinner are $300 per person, and corporate sponsorships are available. The cocktail hour will begin at 7:00 pm, followed by dinner and dancing. To commemorate the event, we will be publishing a Souvenir Journal. Advertisements in the Dinner Journal are available for individuals and businesses. For your convenience, ticket and journal reservation forms are enclosed.
